God has given us this thing called life. Now what do we do with it? Apparently He puts great value on it. For He sent His only Son to die for us to redeem us into a life that He desires to be exceedingly, abundantly, beyond all that we could ask or think (Eph. 3:20). That's just how the heart of God works. He gave it to us...and then He redeemed us to restore it's fullness to us.
At the same time, Satan, the thief, knowing the great fulfillment, power and influence such a life would have, tries to steal this life from us.
Our job here is to learn to peel off the lies of the thief to reveal the fullness of you being "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14) in God's image as He created you. The thief has gotten us to focus too much on dealing with the negative aspects of sinfulness and not nurturing the fearfully and wonderfully made creation underneath. As we explore and nurture the fullness of who you are before God, the glory of God forming in you begins to burst through the false ceiling of the lies of the thief to reveal the fullness of God's creation. And you walk off in His glory.
My job...is just to walk alongside to help.
